Aims of the Project

Mentoring Plus have numerous rooms and facilities available for rental when they aren’t being used by the charity. These include:

- Outdoor Basketball Court

- Garden

- Kitchen/Communal Area

- TV Room

- Music Rooms

- Hall

Due to the pandemic, they lost most of their regular rental clients and are therefore on the search for new ones and have asked for our assistance with this awareness campaign. The money generated through these rentals goes straight back into the charity and is a key source of income for them.

Our project has the following aims:

- Carry out thorough market research to help Mentoring Plus choose the best price compared to competitors in the local area.

- Design a webpage advertising the spaces on offer.

- Design a new booking form to be included on the webpage.

- Draft social media posts, which can be used as ads, advertising the spaces.

- Design and print a flyer which can be distributed in public places to raise awareness for the spaces on offer.

Our
Objectives

The key goal of our awareness campaign is to double the revenue generated from venue hire from the previous year. Last year’s income was £5000 and for this year, they would like to generate £10,000 from external hires.

Potential Challenges

- The timescale of our project means that we won’t be able to see the full impact of our work.

- With the nature of the project, we are unable to set a project's KPI's within the timeframe

- We are not allowed to access the charity's social media accounts, so there is limited action on time and content as well as tracking the insight result
